I’m inspired by a need to write poetry sing songs and describe dirty lace curtains. And somehow I don’t seem to know how. How is how and how do you put something like this on paper? Disused and out of whack my mental gym routine has somehow failed. A quick snippet falls into my mind. Falls away again. I lurk in corners and wish I could be like the people who wish they could be someone else. Thanks for your beautiful words. Now where are mine? I’ve lost them somewhere along the way and am too scared to retrace my steps pick them up (touch taste feel) Find them. Some day

I got a new computer awhile ago and haven't installed the software for my scanner on the new computer.  I really should.  Maybe I will do it tomorrow.

New Beginnings.

I haven't really been up to art lately.  Work and life have kept me busy so I haven't spent much time drawing.  I would love to change that, and plan on doing so, but every time I go on here I see all my old stuff and it just makes me sad.  So I deleted it all, and am starting fresh.  Here's to a new year, even though it's a month early!

A change in the air...

Some things have happened in my life recently, and they have made me stop and take a look at my art -- or my lack of it.  I don't know exactly why it happened, but about two years ago I just stopped doing it.  Oh, I still drew from time to time, painted randomly, but there was never that day to day practice and honing of the craft.  And if I did do something, it was never posted here, and it was always something done in a rush. I look back at my art and all I see here in this gallery are childish sketches and the beginnings of what I was trying to do two years ago: create a fan base of my original characters, and use my art and profile here
